Caring for Your Blooms

A Tender Ritual

At Fleur Hart, we don’t believe flowers are meant to last forever.
We believe they are meant to live. To open in their own time, to soften, to fade.
Their brevity is their brilliance.

When you bring them home, you’re not preserving an object.
You’re inviting a presence. A quiet reminder to pause. To notice. To breathe.

Each gesture of care — changing their water, trimming their stems, keeping them cool —
isn’t about control. It’s about companionship. A way of saying,
“I see you. I’ll keep you comfortable while you’re here.”

1. Refresh their water daily. Let it be cool and clean.
Snip the stems on an angle, a little every few days — a fresh start, a gentle drink.

2. Keep them out of harsh light and away from warmth. They thrive where the air is still, where nothing rushes them along.

3. Remove fading petals softly. Not to fight their decline, but to give space for what’s still vibrant to shine.

4. Clean their vase before each refill. Let every detail be a meditation.

Letting Them Go

When their stems begin to bow, when petals scatter like quiet confetti, let it be a soft goodbye. Compost them. Scatter any seeds they’ve left behind.
They may not last forever, but they leave things worth tending.

Flowers don’t mark time. They dissolve it.
They remind us that beauty is not measured in days,
but in how deeply it’s felt while it’s here.
